Kitesurfing in Colombia | Santa Verónica 🇨🇴 | Colombia travel vlog 2022 | Land and sea with Pacho

Santa Verónica and Salinas del Rey are considered small towns that belong administratively to the town of Juan de Acosta ("corregimientos" in Colombian terms)

They are a big destination for Kite Surfers around the world. The GKA Freestyle World Tour had its first event of the year in Salinas del Rey from March 2nd to March 6th 2022.

You can come easily from Barranquilla or Cartagena, by taking a mini bus that costs 30.000 pesos (around 8 USD at the current exchange rate) with Berlinastur from its terminals in the mentioned cities. The trip from Barranquilla is only 30 minutes, from Cartagena one hour.
To go back to Cartagena, the only company that stops at Parador Sombrero Vueltiao, which you can see on my video, is Marsol; this one charges 45.000 pesos (between 12 and 13 USD at the current exchange rate) in the case of Barranquilla, you can go back with the locals paying only 6.800 pesos (less than 2 USD at the current exchange rate)
