Upper Rogue Salmon Fishing

Oregon is littered with rivers to catch salmon. Few, however, rival the springer run on the Rogue River. Situated near the town on Shady Cove, the Upper Rogue River uses releases from Lost Creek Reservoir to maintain salmon friendly cold water even when air temperatures soar past 110 degrees in Southern Oregon and the Rogue River Valley.

Armed with a mix of Red and Pink Fire Cure scented with Fire Power, Team Pautzke members Mick Thomas and Troy Whitaker spent a half day drifting the river with guide Steven Theel of S.O.
