N.S. shipyard begins work on new destroyers

Canada's upcoming 15 warships have been officially designated as River class destroyers. Halifax's Irving shipyard has begun work-testing production of what's referred to as "thin-steel" plates, which will be used in the destroyers. (June 28, 2024)
