The condemned individual was brought to the vertical post, which was approximately 3 meters tall.
A rope was attached around the condemned person’s feet and secured through a pulley system at the base of the pole.
The victim was thrust into the air using a sling across their chest and under their arms.
The noose was then tied around the prisoner’s neck and secured to a hook on top of the pole.
When the sling was released, the victim jerked downwards, and an assistant guided this process using a foot rope.
