Having recently sprained my wrist doing janky drops to flat off of farm trailers, I took time to let it heal properly.... Having gotten bored of waiting I took a nice easy trail to break back into it, wait no the other one, a gnarly AF trail.

Clachnaben is to be found on the edges of southern Deeside in Scotland, the descent from the tor at the top drops 362m in 2.2km, so yeah this trail is steep. If you like stairs, this ribbon of rock strewn doom has them in abundance, also speed. This trail can be a fast fast ride if you have the bravery (or stupity) to not feather your rear brake.

The climb is brutal, but a loop can be done in a little over 1hour 30mins if your on it. If you want to avoid the walkers, either go early doors, or go later like I did, so they all be off the hill (after 7:00pm ish).
