The Giff are an interesting race of creatures, to say the least. Officially introduced to D&D 5e in Mordekainen's Tome of Foes, the Giff surprisingly have tons of rich lore given they only have one page of description.

These hippo people may look silly to some, but their mix of lore and abilities can make for some truly deep and meaningful D&D encounters - which is what we're going to create today!

The encounter created in this video uses D&D 5e stats but can be easily altered in order to suit any Dungeons and Dragon game, no matter what edition you prefer.
