Sanford borders both Wells Maine and Kennebunk Maine, is not on the coast but, does however have some great ponds and lakes that the coastal towns don't have. The towns surrounding Sanford also offer great restaurants and many of them also offer live entertainment depending on the night of the week. Whether you're looking for amazing food, fun things to do or casual places to visit, Sanford Maine has a lot to offer.

Airports: 45 minutes to Portland (PWM) and Portsmouth (PSM). 90 minutes to Boston (BOS) is best to use in the winter. NOTE: Sanford has its own airport with a very long runway if you have your own plane.
