📚Description: Tonight's topic is factory seconds. What are they, Who should buy them and does it affect the value? To help us, we review a factory double stamped BGN "2" 1973 Les Paul Custom.

"2" = Factory Second (60s, early 70s era)
SECOND = Factory Second (mid-70s through 80s era)
SEC = Factory Second (typically mid-late 80s era)
BGN = Bargain, usually a more serious cosmetic default (primarily 70s era)
PROMOTIONAL - Not For Resale = Factory second with a marketing twist after the "seconds" program was done away with. Typically gifted/sold to artists at a discount or for giveaways
DEMO = Factory 2nd from Gibson Demo Shop (2019+)
D E M O (Large font) = Gibson EU demo unit from the flagship store or early Demo Shop
MOD = Factory 2nd that was modified in some way (new finish, new parts etc.)
