Let's talk about 3 tips to strengthen, improve and overall develop your weak drumming hand. For me, it's definitely my left.

1 | Develop good technique with your strong hand - 1:08
To play anything well with your left hand, you really need to mirror what is going on in your strong hand, and you want to make sure that you're mirroring good, solid technique. Take the time to develop good technique in that strong hand and make sure you're building that same technique in your weak hand. I show a snippet of my hand technique video in this video, but you can watch the full thing here:    • 8 Hand Technique Tips to Drastically ...  . 2 | Learn French grip - 3:50
Learning French grip will really build the finger control on your weak hand. It takes a lot of time and repetition to get to the point where you aren't slicing with that weak hand, but just stick with playing 8th notes (and alternating 16th notes like I do in the video) and you will eventually work it out. I say eventually because this is a skill that took me forever and it felt like I wasn't making progress, but it finally came with persistence. Just make sure you're going slow and focusing on your technique. Also, make sure you are paying VERY close attention to mirroring exactly what is going on in your strong hand. For me, watching what was going on in my right hand and doing everything I could to make things look and feel the same in my left was important. Do it as often as you can, while you watch TV for example, and you'll get the reps.

3 | Don't neglect your weak hand - 4:56
It's great to do exercises on your drum pad or drum set, but it's super easy to just focus on leading with your strong hand when playing those exercises. Make sure that you aren't neglecting your weak hand. Lead with your strong hand with the rudiment, then make sure you always swap and lead with your weak hand. Play at a slow enough tempo that you can focus on control and technique. Speed will come once you nail down that control.
