Trip on the Stewart J. Cort 2021. By Roger LeLievre

I was recently invited to ride along for seven days aboard the Interlake Logistics Solutions' vessel Stewart J. Cort, a 1,000-foo-long x 105-foot-wide iron ore pellet freighter sailing between the far west end of Lake Superior to Burns Harbor, IN and a steel mill there operated by Cleveland Cliffs. The Cort was the first big supership, built 49 years ago. My hosts were pal Mike Sipper, whose brother Greg is captain of the Cort. Joining us was Mike's uncle Marvin and Glenn Blaszkiewicz, a super-talented marine photographer from Duluth. Here is some video I took along the way.
