Hey thanks for checking out our video. This is episode 1 in our series of traveling around the Dominican Republic. We have 5 or 6 videos of our travels in the Dominican Republic.

In this episode we are in Bayahibe in the south of the Dominican Republic. Be careful not to get scammed we shouldn't of both left the harbour to get supplies but we were lucky this time. But Betty was scammed in Bayahibe buying a sim card so stay sharp.

We went to Isla Saona on a "private tour excursion." You can get here on official tours from Punta Cana. We didn't, we stayed in Bayahibe the night before so we could find I way to Saona Island our selves.. We made our own custom tour of Isla Saona. We met a guy on the beach, he helped us hire a guy that looks like a bit of a pirate with a boat for the day. We visited the town on Isla Saona called Mano Juan to see the turtle rescue, then we went on a walk around the town, had a few drinks on the beach, went snorkelling on the coast of Isla Saona to see the starfish, seen one of the big lakes on the island and also went for a walk along Playa del Toro.
