Southport Incident July 29 2024

The recent stabbing incident in Southport is truly heartbreaking. On July 29, 2024, a mass stabbing occurred at a dance studio during a Taylor Swift-themed event for children. Tragically, three young girls lost their lives: six-year-old Bebe King, seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, and nine-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar. Eight more children and two adults were injured, with several in critical condition.

The community is deeply affected, and local authorities are providing support to those impacted. The suspect, a 17-year-old boy, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
