Описание к видео Christmas in Mexico City: Marathon Guadalupe-Reyes, Part One

If you're someone who loves Christmas, then Mexico City is the place for you. Instead of just celebrating December 24th and 25th, it's a whole month full of festivities known as the Marathon Guadalupe-Reyes. In this video, I look at the origins of Mexico City Christmas traditions, many of which came from the conversion of indigenous cultures to Catholicism. Don't miss Part Two of the video, coming soon, which will look at January's festivities. And as always, give us a like and subscribe!
