M/S of the man taking the drill out of the rock face, another man enters and fills the hole with dynamite. C/U of the dynamite going into the hole, it is then plugged with paper. C/U of the fuse about to be lit. C/U of the man. C/U of the fuse catching light. M/S of three men walking to a shelter made from slate. L/S of the quarry, an explosion dislodges a large lump of slate. L/S of two men dislodging boulders from the rock face, tilt down as the slate falls into the quarry.
