A 28-year-old woman tragically died at Capital Hospital in Meerut shortly after giving birth, when a malfunctioning lift caused her neck to get trapped, leading to severe injuries . Her family, devastated by the incident, vandalized hospital property after doctors and staff fled the scene. An FIR has been filed against the hospital owner, doctor, and staff under section 105 of the BNS for culpable homicide not amounting to murder, for failing to assist the woman during the accident
