You’ll be amazed to learn that this 3D looking soap was made starting with a very thin layer of clear melt and pour soap planed from a clear bar. Then, I poured various colors of soap onto a silicon mat (parchment paper or a mold would also work) and sliced them into thin strips of colored soap. I then used a hot glue gun ( without glue of course) to heat the strips of soap as I applied them to the clear canvas to make a beautiful painting. This thin painting was then embedded in the middle of organic, clear melt and pour soap so that the painting will last as long as the soap lasts. Oh, AND this technique can be combined with mica/alcohol painting on soap by covering the mica painting with clear melt and pour soap solder! I do this for the greenery in this painting.
