➡️ Cappadocia was the largest province of the Roman empire and an important place for Christianity. A few million years ago there was a volcano that erupted here and formed these unique rock formations in Cappadocia. And the people that lived here 3000 years ago carved out houses, churches, and even complex monasteries. The open air museum in Göreme gives access to this incredible landmark and should be number 1 on your to-do list.
