At the corridor along Seraongoon road, the smell of warm thosai and spicy chutney fills the air – mouthwatering aromas that have been present since Komala Vilas restaurant opened this first branch 70 years ago. Established by Mr. Murugiah Rajoo and now managed by his son, Komala Vilas is one of Singapore’s oldest Indian restaurants.

From serving crispy Thosais to flavourful rice meals, the vegetarian restaurant has attracted customers from all over the world, including the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi!
