The Wellmonts Case ended up being a genuinely awesome psychological horror experience.

You play as a private investigator exploring an abandoned farm tied to the mysterious disappearance of the Wellmont family — and the game absolutely nails its tone. The atmosphere is tense from the start, the story kept me interested the whole way through, and the jumpscares were actually well-timed instead of feeling cheap.

This is the kind of horror game that focuses more on dread, investigation, and slow-building unease, but it still delivers some really good moments that caught me off guard.

If you enjoy indie horror with strong ambience, a decent mystery, and some solid scares, this one is definitely worth checking out.
