Addressing Colourism, Caste, and Prejudice In Indian Matchmaking

Описание к видео Addressing Colourism, Caste, and Prejudice In Indian Matchmaking

When Indian Matchmaking launched back in July it started a lot of conversation. While widely enjoyed, it sparked debate about colourism, casteism, religious prejudice, and gender inequality, both in Indian society and on-screen. Some felt the show didn't do enough to address those topics, so we have reunited mathmaker Sima Taparia with the show creator Smriti Mundhra to have a conversation about that.

The chat was moderated by the wonderful Almass Badat, a London born creative Director and DJ with Indian roots. http://www.almassbadat.com/
