A FANGtastic Soulslike - Let's Talk About It: Code Vein

Team Shift, responsible for God Eater, aka "anime Monster Hunter," tries their hand at the souls subgenre. Code Vein was released simultaneously worldwide in September of 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It received some DLC roughly six months later. That being the add on dungeons Hellfire Knight, Frozen Empress, and Lord of Thunder. However, none of this content is covered in this video. Outside of that, Code Vein has not received any bundles or definitive editions.

Overall the game, while challenging, was still quite fun. The class system adds a surprising layer of depth to the gameplay, as well as allowing the player to approach the game from multiple angles and deal with most enemies as they see fit.
