This is a Harvest Mouse although I'm not sure which of the various species this one might be. These are most active from dusk to dawn and that is when I saw this one. It was cutting down grass stalks to get to the seeds on top. He was competing with two different species of bird who were also feeding on those same grass seeds. I also got it feeding on a green berry that looked like a blackberry but isn't. Please excuse the video quality because, in the failing light, my camera was at the limit of its' ability to get good video without a lot of noise. Enjoy!
