Hello, this is my 300th video on YouTube.

I wanted it to be something special, so one week back, I took a half day trip to Matheran.

The Matheran toy train is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It runs from Neral to Matheran on a narrow gauge track. They also run shuttle services up and down between Aman Lodge (the entry point of Matheran) to Matheran (the center / marketplace). These shuttles run with engines at both ends.

I took a local train to Neral and then a taxi up to Matheran mountain. On reaching Aman Lodge, I waited for the Aman Lodge - Matheran Shuttle. There was a long line of tourists so I bought a First Class Ticket. I did the ten minute journey from Aman Lodge to Matheran, and took a few videos. Then I also took another video of the train departing Matheran back to Aman Lodge. The train kept blowing its horn because there were loads of people and tourists walking on the tracks.

All these videos have been compiled and put together by me in this 300th upload of mine.
