This is a question that many people ponder over, curious about the thoughts and perceptions of the narcissist when you choose to cut off all communication with them.

Now, the reaction of the narcissist largely depends on the duration you've been associated with them. Have you been with them for years or just a few months? How deep and long-standing is your relationship with this individual before you decided to go 'No Contact'? The longer you've known the narcissist, the better you'll understand their behavioral patterns.

Generally, when you go 'No Contact' with a narcissist, here's what transpires. You stop communicating with them; you go 'No Contact'. This leads the narcissist to believe that if you wish to reconnect, the responsibility lies with you. In the initial stages, the narcissist is likely to be resilient. They believe that they can break you down. This is their thought process: "I'll make you succumb to my will because I won't be the one to chase after you". They perceive themselves as superior, believing that you will eventually crumble and reach out to them.

Why do they think this way? It's because you are the one filled with emotions and empathy, you are the one who has a heart. And how does a narcissist view such a person? They see them as weak. The more emotional you are, the weaker you appear in the eyes of the narcissist. They think to themselves, "You can't control your emotions. You are governed by your feelings. You will eventually crack and reach out to me." This is their mindset.
