This one will cover only one island, but that's because I only felt like playing one more. For this one, I brought along Wendell, Anchovy, and Poppy. They all have abilities you've seen before. Wendell has Gimme! Gimme!, Anchovy has Flight, and Poppy has Chef du Jour. Considering the way Wendell looks, I expected him to have Sleepy as an ability, but apparently not.

As a refresher, the ability Gimme! Gimme!, at least from what I can assess, increases the yield of food items (+2 for fruit, +1 for honey, +0 for fish), but with the tradeoff that you need one more ration per day, and the character will occasionally consume some of that food immediately rather than sharing it with the rest of the team. Flight restricts the character's movement to flying over an adjacent tile and landing on the following one, then doing it again, but the character can fly over mountains, ponds, and even the ocean if there is a tile close enough to shore. And Chef du Jour gives you the option at the beginning of the turn to either move out or cook food.

As it turns out, this island is abundant in food, making Gimme! Gimme! a highly beneficial ability, and Chef du Jour...not so much. I have no prior knowledge of these islands though, so it's all a crapshoot.
