猴硐．烏塗窟古道 + 柴寮、中坑古道、三貂嶺瀑布步道、平溪線火車, 環狀健行

隱藏在猴硐附近山區的礦業人文遺跡, 柴寮古道、烏塗窟古道、中坑古道, 猴硐礦工文史館館長周朝南先生的老家及幼時「跳石流水上學路」, 銜接三貂嶺瀑布步道, 體驗礦業滄桑、悠遊古道, 古厝小廟、小橋流水, 是森林浴健行路線, 也是礦村懷舊的人文散步路線。

The mining cultural relics hidden in the mountainous area near Houdong, including the Chailaio Historical Trail, the Wutuku Historical Trail, and the Zhongkeng Historical Trail, the the hometown of Mr. Zhou Chaonan, director of the Houtong Miners' Museum, and his childhood "jumping over stones and running water to school", connecting Sandiao Ridge Waterfall Trail, allows you to experience the vicissitudes of mining and leisurely travel along historical trails. There are old houses, small temples, small bridges and flowing water along the way. It is a forest bathing hiking route and a nostalgic cultural walking route in mining villages.

猴硐第三停車場→20分鐘→柴寮古道入口 (礦工宿舍) →30分鐘→天車間→12分鐘→捲揚機房→2分鐘→礦車工房→5分鐘→一通坑→20分鐘→柴寮13號→15分鐘→烏塗窟坑→25分鐘→周家古厝 →20分鐘→庄頭土地公→30分鐘→鞍部平台 (柴寮古道終點) →20分鐘→古厝遺址→18分鐘→烏塗窟庄尾土地公→50分鐘→抵達三貂嶺瀑布步道→20分鐘→碩仁國小→15分鐘→三貂嶺車站, 全程約7小時 (含休息), 一般健行時間約6小時。

Houtong No. 3 Parking Lot → 20 minutes → Entrance to Chailiao Hsitorical Trail (miners’ dormitory) → 30 minutes → Tainchejian → 12 minutes → Winch machine room → 2 minutes → Mine car room → 5 minutes → Yitong pit → 20 minutes → No. 13, Chailiao → 15 minutes → Wutuku pit → 25 minutes → Zhou Family's old house → 20 minutes → Zhuangtou earth god temple → 30 minutes → Mountain saddle platform (terminal of Chailiao Historical Trail) → 20 minutes → old house ruins → 18 minutes → Wutuku zhuangwei earth god temple → 50 minutes → Arrive at Sandiaoling Waterfall Trail → 20 minutes → Shuoren Elementary School → 15 minutes → Sandiaoling Station, the whole journey is about 7 hours (including rest), the general hiking time is about 6 hours.

猴硐火車站、礦工紀念館、三貂嶺車站 (整修中) 設有公共廁所。
There are public toilets at Houtong Railway Station, Miners Memorial Hall, and Sandiaoling Railway Station (under renovation).
