Since 2019, the globe faced the disaster of the Covid-19 pandemic, prompting the closure of various public spaces, including museums that link communities to their heritage and history educationally and entertainingly. During this challenging period, museums recognized the opportunity to connect with audiences remotely digitally. However, many initiatives overlooked the specific needs of individuals with autism, particularly in terms of sound and lighting preferences, leading to frustration. It is within this context that the concept of the MuZtism application originated.
