On our 4th day, 07-09-21, we started little late as it was raining in the morning. First we went to Paren. With lush green jungle, meadows, hills in the backdrop this little hamlet is often referred as Switzerland of Bengal. After spending some time in Paren we moved to Todey. There are two churches at Todey, St. Nicholas Church (1948) and Hepburn Scott Memorial church (1904). From both the churches one can get spectacular views.

We took a 4x4 jeep for Dawaikhola river, we crossed Dawaikhola using a tiny bridge. In the other time, when there is little water in this river, vehicle use to cross the river easily, but now, this khola is full with water, roaring streams due to monsoon. On the other side we would get connecting Jeep for Tangta Monastery.
We walked for a km to reach the confluence of Simanakhola and Dawaikhola, the place is excellent for camping. We spend some time and came back, had our lunch and took the other jeep and went to Tangta monastery.
