Using the M-Audio Oxygen Pro WITHOUT a DAW! - Assigning Custom Controls to the Oxygen Pro Knobs

The M-Audio Oxygen Pro is a great USB controller for any level of experience, but it's also a great choice if you're new to music and trying to learn how to play! In this video I talk about using the M Audio Oxygen Pro (I have the Oxygen Pro 25) standalone without any DAW and how to use the included virtual instruments such as the Mini Grand (Piano sounds), Hybrid 3 (Synth sounds), and the Velvet (Electric Piano sounds). I also talk about easily assigning controls in the virtual instrument to the knobs and faders on the Oxygen Pro with only a couple clicks!

If you're looking for a controller that comes with hundreds of sounds that can be played with only a computer and no DAW, the Oxygen Pro is a great option that also gives you room to grow into a more detailed controller and studio setup! I also provide some tips on how to fix latency if you have a delay between pressing the key and hearing the sound.
