MUMBAI to IGATPURI - Full Morning Drive on National Highway 3 // Timelapse (5x)

It is a timelapse (5x) of the entire drive from Mumbai to Igatpuri along National Highway 3 (NH 3). We were on our way to Nashik and I decided to put my phone on the dashboard and record the journey. Unfortunately due to bumps on the road, sometimes the phone fell down, so a few seconds are missing. I have put a few captions of the places we pass along the way. They may not be exactly accurate, some of them are quite big areas. The description can be seen below.

We started from Mumbai Central at 06:00 am. It was still dark at that time. Near Dadar, a part of one of the flyovers had a very bad road surface and we had to slow down. At Chembur, we stopped near the Amar Mahal junction to pick up a friend. After that it was a nice and quick run along the Eastern Express Highway as the darkness slowly gave way to light. However, after Thane there was quite a bit of truck traffic and once again our speed reduced a bit. Finally after crossing Kalyan area things were better and the road became emptier. Watch the beautiful sunrise in front of us as we were heading eastwards. Unfortunately due to that, some parts of the video have come very dark. We sped along the highway and stopped at Khardi for a few moments to see the Mangala Lakshadweep Express. We then continued past Kasara and started the final ghat section, once again at a slow and sedate speed. The traffic was quite a bit and we slowly wound our way around the curves and up the ghat. During the climb you can see the Panchvati Express heading towards Mumbai at a section where the road and railway are parallel to each other. Finally we reached the top and few moments later, stopped at Manas Resort (Igatpuri) for breakfast at 08:30 am.

This is definitely one of the longest time lapses on my channel.
