Jacksonville’s lining up a full-on surf park in eTown, and the city just agreed to sweeten the deal with a multi-million-dollar tax break to help make it happen.

🌊🏄‍♂️ If it all comes together, South Jax could go from cul-de-sacs and construction zones to “meet me at the wave pool after work” pretty fast.
This park would anchor a 45-acre mixed-use spot in South Jacksonville, right off 295, with a big surfing lagoon and the kind of retail and hangout spaces that tend to push nearby values up over time.

For anyone shopping in eTown or along 9B, this is one more sign that the area’s turning into a full lifestyle district, not just another bedroom community.
