The hype coming into the 2021 NFL Draft was immense, especially at quarterback. Oozing with upside, five different men were seen as the future of the position. One also happened to be a potentially generational talent who was the best prospect since Andrew Luck. Instead of a great success leading their teams to newfound glory, it's become a cautionary tale. Nobody's reached their upside three seasons in, and worse, four of five first rounders have already been traded at a significant loss in value. It's the danger of potential: There are times where it won't be reached. In this case, it happened to nearly every quarterback selected.
