IRONMAN 70.3 Colombo 2019 will take place in the heart of the city. The 1.9km ocean swim will be held at the historic Galle Face Green, followed by a well paved, flat and fast 90km bike course that will take you through the Port of Colombo, one of the most historic harbours in the world that stood as the centre of ancient trading routes connecting the east and the west.
The final spectator-friendly 21.1km run passes some of Colombo’s landmarks and the Port of Colombo that will leave you with many memories to cherish. You will race in perfect tropical warm weather conditions soothed by the hospitality of locals who will line up to cheer you on with your family and friends. February falls right between two rainy seasons. The warm temperatures hovering around 27°C (81°F) and low rainfall make it an ideal month for racing and holidaying.
IRONMAN 70.3 Colombo 2019 will also offer a team relay, a great opportunity for first timers to get a taste for an IRONMAN 70.3 race.
