King Lagazee has just opened a can of worms when he opened conversations on Ghana’s maiden Sound Clash organized by Billy Jean and Budda Man 10 years ago (2010) at the Labadi Beach (Accra, Ghana).

According to the seasoned multiple award-winning Radio/TV Selector (King Lagazee), “Budda Man organized the show purposely to crown Shatta Wale as Dancehall King. Whichever way the show went, the end result was to make Shatta Wale the winner of that contest. But according to the judges, Stonebwoy was made the winner.”

Budda Man is known within the Ghanaian Dancehall fraternity as one of lead faces who stood and defended the genre before it became a household embrace in Ghana.
He made reference to a post Budda Man made on social media platform Facebook some time back, to buttress his (King Lagazee’s) point. He said all these on his show “Yaad Settingz” on the eve of Sunday, August 9, 2020.

Stonebwoy is billed to face his Dancehall arch rival (now friends), Shatta Wale, in a COVID-related initiative by Asaase Radio 99.5fm, an Accra based radio station under the theme “#Clash2CrushCOVID”. Different angles of conversations have sparked from this new development after both artistes were announced to headline the “Asaase Sound Clash”. A specific date is yet to be communicated but it was officially launched with both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy in attendance on the first week of August 2020 at the radio station’s conference room.
