1977 NEW YORK METS Old Timers Game 7/16/77 Shea Stadium Original WOR Broadcast

Original WOR-TV Broadcast with Bob Murphy and NY sports writer Stan Lomax in the 16th Old Timers game for the NY Mets. Recent restoration and Digitalized off the original Beta cassette to DVD disc and was recently in my more personal Phenia Films page for a couple years and is making its debut on my Phenia Film MLB Archival page where its here to stay.
From 7/16/77 NY Mets 16th Old Timers Day and the 14th at Shea Stadium unedited broadcast including pre game ceremonies with Lindsey Nelson including player introductions including Ralph Kiner part of the old timers roster. Great memories these days at Shea Stadium or even watching on WOR-TV 9 with the Old Timers games which is now a thing of the past..in the 16th Old Timers game its 1969 Mets and 1973 Mets on hand to play 'Memorable Moments from World Series History' with the greats of the World Series games past, like say hey kid Willie Mays Mickey Mantle and Duke Snider and jolting Joe DiMaggio to name a few….Plus the sounds of Shea Stadium with Jane Jarvis musical director at Shea and Jack Franchetti the Public Address announcer..a time capsule for Mets and MLB fans and a salute to the great days spent at Shea Stadium
Also includes 1977 New York Mets highlight film Accent on Youth also restored/remastered off a commercial VHS tape
