20 years ago, Bon Jovi hit the road in support of their Have A Nice Day album. It was the first album I really breathed as a fan at the time, so special memories to that era are attached here.
Despite the overall little liked TLFR section in the middle of the set which often felt like it killed the momentum, the band was strong in the early pacing of the show and Jon really ramped in picking up the power afterwards too.
This show was filmed from back in the upper left ranks but shined with nice zooms and an overall decent audio for the cameras of the time. The video was stabilized by eliminating little signs of the early digital days' compression as well as rebalancing lighting and gamma settings for a bit more detail. The audio was a bit dull and especially holding back on a clear drum feel. As a consequence, a self-made sound clone was imposed upon the track which opened the room for rebalancing the entire thing a bit more.
