Teaching Textbooks review, non grade specific, homeschool math curriculum for 2nd grade through pre-calculus. I just wanted to share our experiences and potential pitfalls with Teaching Textbooks. We have used pre-algebra, algebra 1 and algebra 2 and plan to transition our upcoming 2nd grader to Teaching Textbooks when we feel he is ready.

UPDATE: My oldest has taken one official timed practice SAT and got 1180, and ironically got 590 on both the math and LA portions. This is in the 75th percentile. This was his baseline test as we start prepping for the official test and I see a lot of room for improvement as I can tell there were quite a few math problems that were missed just because of a misinterpretation of the question. To hats off to TT - it's been a struggle to get through but he DOES know the material he needs to know. Just thought I'd throw this out there for those who might be wondering if it will prep kids for college. :)
