Philadelphia counts mail-in ballots under heavy security the day after US elections

The US state of Pennsylvania was still counting thousands of mail-in ballots one day after Americans went to the polls to choose leaders including their next president. As of November 4, 2020, no projections had been made about whether incumbent President Donald Trump or challenger Joe Biden had won the state’s 20 electoral votes. Ballots were being counted at the city of Philadelphia's convention centre under heavy police security.
