Episode 9 of Marvel’s #WhatIf has us deeply appreciating what feels like an adequate FINALE of our #MaJelivReactions coverage of this animated series that exceeded our expectations.

In this finale episode we enter the in-between realms of the multiverse in order to make the last attempt to destroy Ultron and halt his annihilation of every universe he can perceive intelligent life on.

In this episode we discover the bond Captain Carter and Black Widow will unite them even beyond universes. Thor finds a way to keep us laughing despite the odds not being in our favor. Killmonger lives up to his usual selfish drive for power and reminds us of Boromir from Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring. Above all, the biggest surprise is the evolution of the Watcher from a bystander to a highly participant entity, now we can even call him the Protector!
