RPG Maker 2003 is known for being an easy introduction to game development, requiring no coding experience whatsoever and relying on automated tools and stock resources to create games like the early Final Fantasy and Breath of Fire games. After 20 years and multiple new RPG Maker iterations, the 2003 engine is still going strong, with tons of new games coming out every year.

In this video, I explain why I find the engine so fascinating, while sharing a ton of different games built in this archaic, endearing software. 💀❤️
