As well as hosting the radio anthology series The Price of Fear, Vincent Price starred in this Hammeresque radio play first broadcast in 1975. It's great fun, with Price - and his wife, Coral Brown - providing solid central performances... I've always felt that the 'wolf' is something of a let-down, with its snarling sounding a lot more like the snorting of a pig... but nothing's perfect, and if you can cope with that, it's a very entertaining play. Repeated several times over the years, it was given a place in the Christmas schedules in 1978 when it was broadcast on Boxing Day.
