Ingredients:

5-8 Garlic pods
1 tsp Kaju
1 tsp Jeera

Salt to taste

For tempering (optional):

1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 tsp Jeera
1 tsp Channa dal
1-2 dried red chilies
Few curry leaves
¼ tsp Turmeric for color

1. Blend: In a blender or food processor
First rough blend the garlic, jeera, kaju and green chilies
2. combine the diced mango and coconut and salt. Blend until you get a smooth consistency. If the chutney is too thick, you can add a little water to thin it out.
3. Temper (optional): Heat oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add jeera and channa dal. Sauté until color changes to golden color Then add dried red chilies and curry leaves. Fry for a few seconds until fragrant. Now turn off the flame add mango, coconut blended chutney mixture to the pan and mix all together allow the flavor mix well
4. Serve: Transfer the mango coconut chutney to a serving bowl. You can serve it immediately or refrigerate it for later use. It goes well with dosa, idli, rice, or any other South Indian dishes. Enjoy!
