The "Meerdaalwoud" is a beautiful forest that lies in the region around Leuven, Belgium. Some trees that grow here are a couple of hundred years old! We started our MTB trail from the parking lot at "Heverleebos", crossed the "Meerdaalwoud" with epic singletracks and fun downhill section and then made and extra loop direction Overijse and Walloon region. If you love MTB singletracks then you will definitely like it here ;). The MTB trail we rode was 65km lond and had D+1000m but if you want to ride a shorter MTB xc tour, you can skip the Overijse/Huldenberg loop. The nicest singletracks lie in "Heverleebos" and "Meerdaalwoud" anyway.

Het "Meerdaalwoud" is een prachtig bos dat ligt inde buurt van Leuven, België. Sommige bomen die hier groeien zijn een paar honderd jaar oud! We begonnen onze MTB-route vanaf de parkeerplaats bij "Heverleebos", reden door het "Meerdaalwoud" met zalige singletracks en leuke afdalingen en maakten toen een extra lus richting Overijse en Wallonië. Als je van MTB singletracks houdt, dan zal je het hier zeker leuk vinden;). Het MTB parcours dat we aflegden was 65 km lang en had D+ 1000m, maar als je een kortere MTB xc-tour wilt rijden, kun je de Overijse / Huldenberg-lus overslaan. De leukste singletracks liggen sowieso in "Heverleebos" en "" Meerdaalwoud ".
