ABOUT REINA DEL CID (NOW "ELLE & TONI") ----------------------------------------------

In 2007, singer/songwriter Rachelle Cordova launched her YouTube channel and selected the name Reina del Cid, which is Spanish for “Queen of El Cid”, which in turn was the name of her guitar. Since then, she has been cranking out beautiful original material across four albums while also building a global fanbase behind her weekly covers released as part of her “Sunday Mornings with Reina del Cid” series. Her primary songwriting partner is Toni Lindgren, who is a phenomenal lead guitarist, and they have toured as a duo and with a full band across the US and Europe. Besides music, she is passionate about video games, literature, and science fiction, especially anything related to space, which is a common topic for many of her tunes.

Reina del Cid has so many terrific original songs, that we had a tough time narrowing down the list to something manageable for this episode. However, we are going to give you a “variety pack” of tunes, ranging from recent studio recordings to live performances of older material. We are not going to spend much time on her popular covers, but I encourage you to head over to her channel and indulge in her creative talents.

NOTE:
Since we published this video, Rachelle decided to drop her stage name "Reina del Cid" and perform under her own name, Elle Cordova. She created a new channel for her non-musical interests and re-branded her RDC channel as "Elle & Toni".
