They Die is a musical trio that gravitates around the gothic post punk world, offering the sounds of the genre's dawn - of the early eighties - revisited in a contemporary key. The project is inspired by the atmosphere of the alternative discos of those years, reworked in the decadence of our days, obsessively repeating, like a mantra, the love-death duality, seen and interpreted as the apex of an existence lived in abandonment.
The band is made up of three musicians who have long been active in the alternative environment:
Simone Scarani: vox, lyrics and music production (FruttetiRiarsi, Frukteti, FirstBlackPope, BlackBeat, Templebeat)
Massimiliano Griggio: guitars (FruttetiRiarsi, Frukteti, VioletVamp, FirstBlackPope, BlackBeat)
Giorgio Ricci: keyboards (Templebeat, Templezone, BlackBeat, FirstBlackPope, Ran).
