BMW e90 328i (N52) Rough Idle fix! How To Replace The CCV Valve

Описание к видео BMW e90 328i (N52) Rough Idle fix! How To Replace The CCV Valve

In this video i'm replacing the ccv valve on my BMW e90 328i (n52) and i will also clean the mass air flow sensor

This BMW e90 had a rough idle when cold .. for a couple of second the rev needle was going up and down and i didn't like that. In this case the problem started from a loose clamp on the intake pipe and the car was using unfiltered air. That lead to the mas air flow sensor getting dirty and a rough idle. The role of the MAF sensor is to read how much air is flowing in, sends that info to the ecu and then the fuel is added. This way every single drop of petrol burns as clean as possible. So having this sensor dirty gave the ecu wrong info.

The ccv valve was not that bad on this car because it has only 30k on the clock but i decided to change it anyway to avoid any problems in the future. this is not expensive at all and u can easily do this at home so why not? if this valve is broken it can create a rough idle as well.

Thank you for watching!
