Springfield Raceway will be continue action packed Dirt Car Racing on the 1/4 mile clay oval with Emergency Services Personnel Night on Saturday April 14.Raceway Officials want to recognize the men & women that risk their own lives as they work in the trenches everyday helping not only in the Ozarks but across the entire USA making a better & safer place for us to live. We tip our hat to you ALL & SAY ....

Police, Firefighters, EMT's & Rescue workers will be allowed FREE Grandstand admission on this night. Fans will be treated to 5 Divisions of Racing as the Drivers compete for prize money and accumulate points to determine who is crowned Champion at the end of the season. Everyone knows someone in this line of work spread the word & let them know.EMS Personnel needs to bring ID badge for FREE general admission.See you at the Races.

USRA Modifieds 1) Jody Tillman 2) Ryan Gilmore 3) Jerry Lankton 4) Jim Body 5) Travis Perry-Tillman gains on leader Gilmore and on lap after leading early and nips Gilmore at the line for the win.
USRA B Modifieds-1) Ryan Gilmore 2) Sam Petty 3) Kris Jackson 4) Aaron Scroggins 5) JC Morton. Gilmore high in passing points redraws the pole and walks the dog but behind him it was a dog fight with Petty making the drive from 9th to a narrow runner-up finish Over 32 B Modifieds checked in tonight.with great racing.
Midwest Modz-1) Scott Campbell 2) Colt Cheevers 3) Steve Wharff 4) Rob Muilenburg 5) Shawn Carlberg. Over 27 Midwest in the pits. Campbell has to fend off a late race surge from Cheevers to take the win-good overall Main as this class continues to impress.
Legends-1) Steve Harshbarger 2) Wayne Johnston 3) Ryan Sullivan 4) Mike Mueller 5) Trenton Simon. After a 4 car swapping for the lead, Harshbarger gets his 1st ever win by making a low move out of turn 4 in a 4 wide pass for the lead.
Pure Stocks-1) Kyle Purvis 2) James Redus 3) Jack Hamer 4) Tyrel Jones 5) Richard Harrington. Purvis drives a near perfect Main in holding back the Station Wagon of defending champion Redus as a 2 car battle ended-up with a 4 car blanket at the finish. Over 100 cars in the pits on a windy cold night. Thanks to all the drivers and fans who came out tonight. next Saturday Night-Military Appreciation night with round 3 of the Championship chase with the Mini-Late Models scheduled to compete along with USRA Modifieds, B Modifieds,Legends, midwest Modz and Pure Stocks. 6:30 Race time.
