I precisely remember the time when episode 2x03 of Misfits aired - even though I didn't even watch it back then. But my subbox EXPLODED with Simon/Alisha vids and I couldn't quite get the hype about it and was just wondering what a weird show this is. But, as you probably figured out, I started watching Misfits and Simon and Alisha totally won me over in a heartbeat!! Their story is so bittersweet and heartbreaking and beautiful and sad and SO MANY EMOTIONS!!!! I miss them so much already and thinking about that I'll never see another Simon/Alisha scene again almost makes me cry - literally! Ugh. :(
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this vid which I made for the "no effects" challenge of SYTYCV and I'll promise there will definitely be more Simon/Alisha vids in the future #lovethemsomuchhhhh

First of all I wanna thank you again for giving me the opportunity to participate in this amazing contest, I'm so honored to be part of the finalists! :) I liked this challenge very much because I'm not a fan of many effects although I realized during this vid that I'm actually using more effects than I'm aware of... :D I had the idea for this vid in my head since summer and when I've read the description of this challenge I knew I finally had to make this Simon/Alisha vid. I focused on the parallels of their attempts to make the other one fall in love with them, their patience, sadness and passion.
In case you don't know the show/couple: After Alicia gets killed, Simon travels back in time to save her life. He tells her that he came from the future and that they will be together someday. Even though Alicia can't imagine to fall in love with the "present Simon", she totally falls for the more confident "future Simon" who is also able to touch her without being effected by her superpower. Simon gets killed during the attempt to save Alicias life but he tells her, that "present Simon" will eventually become him when he falls in love with Alisha. Alisha is heartbroken over her lover's death and tries to connect with "present Simon". One day Simon follows her in "future Simon's" loft and sees a picture of them in Las Vegas which was taken in the future. They eventually become a happy couple until Alisha gets killed and Simon travels back in time to save her...
