The first of two artists coming back from the previous Funky & Garage Release is Killjoy. Last time out the Nottingham producer graced us with a ‘Voices In My Head’ alongside UK Funky legend Shantie which was Premiered by Trench.

Having being a key player in Nottingham’s underground music scene for the past 6 years his productions have been duly rewarded with consistent releases in the last few years on the likes of Champion’s Label - Formula Records, and also Tumble Audio.. The Label he has pioneered since starting out alongside his own venture - Joyride. His hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed over the years with productions for the likes of D Double E on ‘Like This’ as well as mix’s for FabricLive & THUMP.

In more recent years he has been consistently developing his signature blend of Funky, Bass and Grime in his productions becoming a staple in a host of sets from Funky & Bass’s most reputable names. This has lead to a number of appearances on Marcus Nasty’s Rinse FM show in the past 12 months including participating in the 1Forty Takeover on the former NASTY Crew DJ’s weekly slot to promote the last Funky & Garage Release.
