For bridges with a superstructure length of less than 150 m, which do not justify the effort of mounting a carriage or a track, the VGK cantilever parapet bracket represents a good solution. The individual brackets are attached to the cantilever from below or laterally to the abutment and then supplemented with planks to form closed platforms. The formwork can be safely assembled and aligned from them.

For short bridges, which do not justify the assembly of a carriage or parapet track, the cantilevered parapet bracket can be used. This applies to bridges with narrows radii, which do not allow the use of rails.

The brackets are fixed to the cantilever from below and in the course of the process planks are added to close the platform. From these complete platforms, it is possible to assemble and align the formwork safely and conveniently.

In cases of bridge refurbishment, these platforms can also be used for the removal of the old parapet. The anchor positions must have already been considered during the construction of the carriageway slab.
